Probably not, but honestly, it's good to know you've got at least one other friend out there. In this line of work, it doesn't hurt to have someone watchin' your back.

Unfortunately he ees not at my base anymore so zhere ees little I can do to --

[ He trails off as his line twitches, grabbing the fishing rod before the whole thing gets dragged over the side of the boat. He starts to reel it in, but the tension on the line makes him nervous that it's going to snap. ]

I zhink I have caught a boulder.

[Engineer puts a pin in that note as he scoots over to Spy's side of the boat, prepared to help him reel it in if need be.]

Here's hopin'. Keep pullin' it in, nice and steady.

[ He does as instructed, slowly reeling in. The rod is bent into a C and the line is jiggling around, but whatever he's caught is slowly coming to the surface with it. ]

Eef zhis drags me down eento zhe water to eat me, tell Scout he cannot have my car.

I'd grab a hold of your jacket to keep you in, but I get the feelin' you'd rather drown than me tear it.

You would be correct.

[ Closer and closer to the surface it comes until it's splashing around. A big brown catfish trying its best to break the line by rolling around and thrashing. ]

[The rain is picking up, mirroring the fight with the catfish. Since he can't grab Spy's suit, Engineer instead tries to get as close as he can to the edge.]

I'll grab him the second he comes close enough. Just keep holdin' him, alright?

[Spy leans back, fearful that they're going to tip the boat over. The catfish flips himself out of the water, the momentary slack on the line sending Spy tumbling onto his back, but at least he's still in the boat.

A few more moments and he's reeled it in far enough for the fish to be at the surface against the boat, splashing water everywhere.]

[And that's when Engie makes his move, scooping the fish up as fast as he can. It slaps against him wildly, trying to get out of his grasp; however, Engineer isn't letting this one go. He doesn't mind losing one of his own, but he's not about to lose Spy's catch because he forgot to buy a net.

He finally drops it into the bucket, where about throws the previous two out. Engineer slides back to his side of the boat, trying to settle the vessel so it doesn't turn over as he grabs his pole and starts reeling it in.]

Alrighty! Let's call it a day with that one. I get the feelin' we're about to be drowned out as it is with the rain.

[Spy sets his rod down, staring eagerly into the bucket, not even noticing the rain drops that are now splashing down around them.]

I would call zhis a success!

[Spy grins, pleased with himself.]

It certainly is, partner. Now let's get inside before our boat fills with water and he's able to swim away.

[Tucking his pole away, he grabs the oars and starts rowing. Their exit is far faster than their approach as the rain is picking up.]

[Spy sets about organizing their gear in the base of the boat. There's only one set of oars so he can't do much but watch as the shore draws closer.]

I hope eet doesn't rain for too long, eet would spoil zhe grill to cook zhese.

[He also seems to be forgetting that it's early afternoon, at best.]

We might just have to see if they'll cook 'em in the hotel kitchen. This looks like it ain't gonna be just an afternoon shower.

[Docking the boat, he tucks the extra beers into his pockets, grabbing the bucket of fish and his gear.]

Well, we shall see, perhaps we can --

[He's cut off by a resounding clap of thunder and the sky opens up a torrential downpour. The few tourists who are still outside shriek and run for cover. Spy, used to getting drenched on a daily basis at work just sedately gathers his things, following Engineer to the shore.]

At least we got some time on zhe lake before zhe clouds ruined eet.

Yep. Had a good catch, too.

[Engie picks up the pace to get to the hotel, careful not to drop their precious cargo as he opens the door for Spy.]

So much for that peace and quiet I was tellin' you about.

Well eet was peaceful before zhe rain. And eet will be peaceful een our room where we can watch eet out zhe window.

[He steps into the elevator, actually slightly glad for his ridiculous outfit as most of him is still dry.]

[Engineer didn't fare nearly as well- he's completely drenched from head to toe, dripping all over the floor of the elevator, leaving a sizable puddle as they reach their floor.]

Yeah. We've got some time to dry off before dinner.

Poor fish. Zhey must wait before we eat zhem.

[Their hotel room has a stellar view of the lake being pelted by shot glass sized rain drops. He leans his gear against one of the walls before getting out of his waders, draping them over the shower curtain rod. Then he digs through his luggage for a nice dry shirt, debating about changing in front of Engineer.]

[There's no debate at all for Engineer, who sets the bucket and his gear down by the door before unhitching his overalls, not wanting to drip too much on the carpet. He slides out of them and his boots as quickly as possible, then his shirt, and finally his socks, draping them all over the bathroom to dry.]

Hope you don't mind the quick-change act. Didn't want to make our room as much of a mess as I made that elevator.

[His skivvies are the only part of him that didn't get completely soaked. He crosses the room in them, moving the bucket, beer, and rods to the table and dropping his hat and goggles by the nightstand.]

[Oookay then, Spy isn't quite expecting him to just strip down, and he stares for a bit longer than he intended before going back to his luggage.]

Why did you make me wear zhis ridiculous zhing and not get one for yourself?

[Digging out a plain long-sleeve shirt he pulls off his own exterior shirt, hanging it over the back of a chair, hesitating before pulling his undershirt off and substituting it for a dry one, still uncomfortable being exposed in front of anyone.]

I didn't think it'd be rainin' today. Figured that we would be wading into the mud at some point though, and while I don't mind gettin' that on my overalls, I had a feelin' you would.

[At least Engineer isn't looking- he's back in the bathroom, getting himself a towel to dry off.]

Well zhank you. I am glad my pants survived.

[He goes to the chair by the window, trying his best to not leer as he passes the bathroom. Slouching down in one of the comfy armchairs to watch the storm.]

Should we just leave zhe fish een zhe bucket?

Yeah, they'll be okay in there. It beats where they'll be later.

[There's lightning off in the far clouds, followed by another rumble of thunder. It looks like the storm isn't going anywhere, either.]

You mean een my stomach?

[He frowns at the lightning, not happy about it. At least they're not on the top floor.]

I wonder eef zhey will let me use zheir kitchen downstairs.

They might if you ask real nice like. Use some of those conversational skills of yours.

[He emerges from the bathroom, still in his undershirt and underpants, apparently unabashed at his relative lack of clothes. He heads to the window, looking outside as the lightning flashes again, closer.]

Looks like we got inside in the nick of time.
