[Continuing this thread, in which Spy has convinced Engineer to spend a vacation with him. Fishing, fine dining, and some enemy bonding ensue.


Engineer steps into the elevator, hitting the button for their floor, pulling at his collar to loosen that next button.]

Hey, thanks again for the dinner and the suit. I'll have to put it to use some other time to justify your spendin' money on all this.

You can never go back, so eet does not good to dwell on zhe past.

[He squirms around, unhooking some of the blankets from underneath him and draping them around Engineer along with the one he's already under.]

Not every Pyro is gonna lock you up like that. Honestly, most of 'em are a lot like you in a lot of ways.

Don't like the rain and storms. Fond of sweets. Like to share the bed when yer scared. I'd say that's just the tip of the iceberg.

[He grumbles something in French that's probably him admitting to some very very vague similarities.]

I just like being around ozzer people. Eets very lonesome being a Spy.

For the record, I'm glad you aren't like my perception of most Spies.

I am too. Most of zhem are awful and I do not want to be awful.

I try not to be anyway.

I can promise you that.

Most of 'em are the worst people I've ever met with the company. Some aren't so bad, but the ones that are... I'd be happy to die tomorrow if it meant I never had to meet another one.

People who delight in killing people. More zhan killing, destroying people.
