Engineer steps into the elevator, hitting the button for their floor, pulling at his collar to loosen that next button.]

Hey, thanks again for the dinner and the suit. I'll have to put it to use some other time to justify your spendin' money on all this.

I'm not sure exactly what kind of people we are anymore. We're not what some would consider human at this point, I'll tell you that.

But I believe we all can be again. Eet would take some work, but eet could happen.

Not shooting anyone for a day seems like a fine start.

I have not given a great deal of zhought eento reintegrating people like Demo or Soldier eento society, but I am sure somezzing can be done.

Scout would be easier. And Heavy, even eef he does have a bed for his gun.

[And he's not even going to consider Pyro or Medic.]

I don't think some of us can recover from the scars we've gotten from this line of work, though. And some of us just ain't fit for the world at all.

They aren't. Hell, even if they didn't shoot us, we still might end up in worse places.

Yeah. I suppose we oughtta stop thinkin' about what might be and start thinkin' about what is, like this here dinner and the company we've got.

Well my main plan ees to not wake up before zhe sun rises.

I suppose we can try that for a change. Let's both try to sleep through the night, too.

[He grins, knowing how poorly they both sleep.]

[Engie returns the smile, finishing up his meal. Yeah, that is asking a bit much.]

[He is sadly out of milkshakes.]

Unless you are going to sit zhere and watch me eat several more bowls of ice cream, yes.

I suppose we can either see what's down the way, or head back. I know I could use another nap, but I probably shouldn't. I won't sleep tonight, otherwise.
