Engineer steps into the elevator, hitting the button for their floor, pulling at his collar to loosen that next button.]

Hey, thanks again for the dinner and the suit. I'll have to put it to use some other time to justify your spendin' money on all this.

She puts up with a hell of a lot, I'll tell ya that. I don't know where they found her, but they got lucky. Not everyday that a girl like that who can deal with fellas like us comes around.

Probably. Maybe she knows somethin' about her that we don't, somethin' that makes her stay.

[Further down the road are a few stores, as well as a crew setting up the pavilion for the fair that's due in town. Engie lets out a small sigh -- maybe they'll have to come back someday when it is in town. It's been ages since he went to a fair.]

Of course zhe fair would be here far too late for me to get cotton candy. Or candied apples. Or funnel cakes.

[Idly he wonders if he could fill one of Medic's mediguns with batter and use them to make his own giant funnel cakes back at Double Cross. A project for another time.]
