Vacationing

[Continuing this thread, in which Spy has convinced Engineer to spend a vacation with him. Fishing, fine dining, and some enemy bonding ensue.


Engineer steps into the elevator, hitting the button for their floor, pulling at his collar to loosen that next button.]

Hey, thanks again for the dinner and the suit. I'll have to put it to use some other time to justify your spendin' money on all this.

Maybe. Or make sure that if we rent a cabin somewhere that it come with one.

[He digs through his clothes, taking off his Gunslinger and tossing it onto the other bed.]

Just going to grab a quick shower. I'll be out in a minute.

Mmmhmm.

[Visions of snuggling in a private hot tub dancing in his head.

He flopped over so he could watch the rain outside. On the one hand it was keeping them inside and spoiling all the things they could be doing outside, like walking on the beach at sunset. But it was facilitating strip poker and potential cuddling. So just this once Spy would forgive it.]

[They might have to try the beach some other day. Engie would like a sunset walk.

Speaking of Engie, into the shower he goes. He turns the heat up, the sounds of the shower mingling with that of the rain outside. It's not a torrential downpour or a thunderstorm threatening to knock the power out, but it's enough to disrupt plans all the same.

Not that they had any plans. Disrupting their vacation is more like it, so relaxing in the hotel will have to do, unfortunately.

He's in the shower for several minutes, his exit announced by steam billowing from the doorway. He's only got boxers on as he rounds the corner, his skin red from a light scalding -- it's too hot for a shirt at the moment. He flops onto the other bed, grabbing his Gunslinger to reattach it.]

Woowhee! I don't think we get water that hot at the base.

[He narrowed his eyes at the mostly naked Engineer just casually strolling around, taking a moment to compose himself before responding.]

Perhaps you could do somezzing about zhat. Water heaters seem to be your specialty after all.

[He closes his eyes, the heat having relaxed him quite a bit.]

I could, but there's only so hot the old gals can get things. That, and I probably won't be at the base long enough to enjoy it.

You keep saying zhat, but you should enjoy zhe time you have.

[Good, don't see the leer he's sending your way.]

I wonder eef I could install a hot tub een my room at zhe base wezzout anyone noticing.

You could probably talk your own Engineer into it with the right persuasion.

Maybe. He ees just as busy as you are. Always has projects zhat he cannot put off for anyzzing else.

Of course hot tubs are only as good as zhe company.

[Leer has pushed into maximum overdrive.]

[Enjoy that view of his arms and chest as he stretches, eyes still closed as he remains oblivious to the torture he's causing over there. He has some pudge, but clearly his arms get enough of a workout -- his muscles are pretty obvious as he curls his arms behind his head to give himself a prop.]

Better watch out where you put that thing, then. I'll bet Pyro's got an entire collection of rubber ducks, and would love to play with them.

[He shifts on the bed, squeezing at the crook of his shoulder and neck. That nap in the movie theater didn't do him any favors.]

Plannin' on bringin' a date back to your base?

Not exactly.

Hot tub or no, eet would be hard to make a base full of people of questionable sanity een zhe middle of zhe woods seem romantic.

[You know, unless said date was already familiar with such a thing.]

Maybe eef zhey were all away for some reason.

And a man of your expertise couldn't convince them to leave for a night?

I am sure I could. Eet would not be too hard to zhink of a reason for all of zhem to leave.

[Not now of course. Right now his brain is centered in places other than his skull.]

Eets considerate of you to be concerned about my sex life.

[He lets out a laugh, sitting up, still rubbing at his neck.]

Just thinkin' about what I do know about you, which is that you seem awful lonely sometimes. You were lookin' out for me just a couple of nights back, remember?

Because you seem lonely as well.

[He rolls onto his stomach, head in his hands.]

And do not get out much.

It's true that I don't get out much. It's easy to get lonely when all you've got for company is machines most of the time.

Eef you were not always playing wez you machines maybe you would not be as lonely.

Hence me bringing you here.

[sentryslinger]

[He looks Spy's way, smiling. That's a genuine one, too.]

You do have a point. Thanks for not lettin' me stay home, partner.

And eet was also for selfish reasons, but I shall bask een zhe knowledge I helped nonetheless.

[He rubs his neck again.]

Speakin' of helping, you wouldn't happen to know how to work out a knot in someone's neck, would ya?

[He waggles his fingers.]

But of course. I am a man of infinite talents.

[Especially when one of them involves being behind Engineer. ]

Sit on zhe edge of zhe bed.

[sentryslinger]

[He scoots to the edge of the bed, rotating his neck a couple of times.]

Guess I should've tried to sleep last night. That nap in the theater is catchin' up to me.

[ He gets comfy behind Engineer, sitting with his legs on either side of him, barely touching Engie's. He gets to work massaging his neck and shoulders, that lecherous grin still in place. ]

You needed zhat nap. Tomorrow we will be back home and not get as much nap time, best to fit it in now.

[Engineer rolls his shoulders against Spy's hands, trying to help get some of the tension out. He sure does have a knot in his neck.]

I might catch one before the rest of the boys get home. That's assuming Pyro and Demo ain't back by the time I get there.
