Spy procures some glasses from the bathroom. They're square tumblers for water when brushing your teeth, not ideal for drinking wine, but he guesses there's a first time for everything.
He also moves the table a bit so they can both eat while looking out at the lake. It's dark enough that little is visible except his own reflection, but every so often the moonlight catches the waves of the lake, making a beautiful glittering effect.
It's taking all his willpower not to dig into the food, because it smells delicious. Engineer better get back soon or he's eating it without him.]
