[Engineer shifts as he dozes, settling further into the pillows propped behind him. The clap of thunder is followed by another rumble shortly thereafter- while neither really drag him from his sleep, they rouse him enough for him to realize how cold he is. Most of his clothes are hanging in the bathroom, after all. Reaching toward the side of the bed for the edge of the blanket, his hand bumps into something that's already there.
That's what makes him open his eyes- he hadn't expected there to be another body in his bed. He can't say he's surprised though, as he looks to the window and to the storm outside, the wind and rain having intensified since he last looked.
It's not all that unfamiliar of a situation for Engineer: this isn't the first time he's woken up during a storm to find someone has joined him in his bed, looking for companionship to fight away fear. It's the first time it's a Spy instead of a Pyro, but the sentiment is all the same. And the solution is as well, he assumes. Engineer tugs the comforter out from under Spy, pulling it toward the center of the bed so he doesn't roll off, then slides under it himself, throwing the rest over the bundle of blankets that's sharing his sleeping space.
With a nod to himself, he settles in again, closing his eyes, listening to the rain, and thinking of good times.]
